The valorisation project of the ‘Pre Sacco’ compartment at Poncione d'Arzo (Canton Ticino - Switzerland) aims at preserving and improving local biodiversity, with particular attention to the Piedmontese gladiolus and ungulates.

The project intends to curb the advancement of invasive species and prevent encroachment by protecting rare species such as the Piedmont gladiolus through ecological management of grassland and woodland areas, promoting a balance between environmental conservation, pastoral activities and wildlife control. Collaboration with local farmers and other interested entities make management integrated and sustainable.
