Who we are

The Foundation's objectives are the respect, development and protection of nature and the animal world, as well as the promotion of education and an increase in culture in these contexts.

In particular, the Foundation aims at:

- encouraging the respect, development and protection of wildlife in all its forms, also by means of hunting with or without dogs, in Switzerland and abroad;

- promoting education and the knowledge of the animal world through initiatives oriented to the preservation of fauna's dignity and its survival, even following a reduction in the available habitat, in Switzerland and abroad;

- organizing and increasing the collection of materials, documents, books, works of art and trophies related to nature, fauna, explorations and cynegetics, which could be made available to scholars, people of culture, experts in science and those who love nature;

- preserving and safeguarding particular geographical areas and single plots in Switzerland and abroad, in order to protect nature and native animal species which are present in such areas and plots.

The Foundation can support other bodies whose objectives are similar to those that it pursues.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization and does not pursue commercial purposes.

The Foundation can own real estate and participating interests in Switzerland and abroad.

The Foundation contributes to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, (SDGs) defined by the United Nations as a strategy 'to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all':
