Investigate the importance of interactions between different species and the use of resources to acquire new knowledge for the appropriate management of chamois, ibex and deer.
Why do chamois and ibexes show two different population dynamics?
different? What role does the deer play in their dynamics?
description
The project aims to assess reproductive behaviour, phenology (date of births) and reproductive success (survival of young) in connection with maternal characteristics, environmental conditions, human practices and the presence of other ungulate species. In addition, interspecific interactions and potential density-dependency problems of species living in the same area are observed.
